Day 1: Bukhara – Nurata city - Yurt Camp.
9:00 Get picked up from your hotel in Bukhara and by the way you will visit Rabati Malik Caravanserai and the associated Sardoba Malik (water reserve) located near the city of Navoiy, then head to Sarmishsay Gorge. Discover archeological remains dating back as far as the Stone Age, including two petroglyph sites with a total of 10,000 ancient rock carvings.
Continue to the desert yurt camp located near Lake Aydarkul, stopping in Nurata to explore the city’s monuments, founded by Alexander the Great.
Arrive at the yurt camp and listen to folk music and stories around the fire. Ride a camel and spend the night in the yurt camp.
Day 2 - Yurt Camp-Lake Aydarkul-Samarkand
Enjoy breakfast at the yurt camp before visiting the nearby village of Dungalak. Get familiar with the life of village people and learn how they live on livestock.
After the short trip, visit Aydarkul Lake. Have a picnic at the lake. Depending on the season, swim or stroll along the lake shores observing the birds. In the afternoon, transfer to Samarkand.
